The SAFE+ course provides the foundation for personal safety and security in fragile and hostile environments. The course is underpinned with industry best practice for travel and management of potential threats and the hazards posed. The skills and knowledge gained through the course provide reassurance for staying safe overseas, mitigating risks and developing positive actions when faced with danger.

Females travelling alone in certain parts of the word can experience challenges and threats that a male traveller may not experience. We offer ‘Lone Female’ travel safety and also Basic Travel Safety guidance for Government & Non-Government Organisations (NGO) ‘friends and family’ that may not require the full SAFE+ course but does require some elements of safety and travel awareness

Conflict can happen in all environments, be that whilst traveling or in the workplace. This course is designed to recognise the early indicators of conflict and crisis events. This one-day workshop will build communication skills for the workplace and for crisis events. These are the fundamental building blocks for dealing with a person in crisis, depression or for suicide intervention and provides strategies for negotiation for managers and teams dealing with conflict.

Unfortunately, Kidnap for Ransom is a reality of life in certain parts of the world with hundreds of thousands of reported kidnappings annually with many often resulting in death or unsuccessful resolution. This two-day Kidnap for Ransom & Crisis Management workshop sets out best practice and current methodology within the standard operating procedure for Kidnap for Ransom situations. The course will focus upon immersive and interactive training delivery using recent real life case studies to bring the subject to life and to dispel common myths associated with this crime. It will include legal implications for consideration along with the support you can expect to receive and the strategies that can result in successful conclusions and outcomes.

Our one and two day programs cover all aspects of personal safety and defence covering UK law, use of force and escalation. This training will combine technical input along with practical applications and clients often take this course in conjunction with our Crisis Communication and de-escalation training.

In order to mitigate crime and criminal intent, the analysis of threat and risk must incorporate the protagonists’ views and tactics often employed. This course will provide an understanding of the ‘hostiles’ perspective and to better identify those that carry out this activity in order to effectively deter and defeat them.

Dynamic lockdown is the ability to quickly restrict access and egress to a site or building (or part of) through physical measures in response to a threat, either external or internal. The aim of lockdown is to prevent people moving into danger areas and preventing or frustrating the attackers accessing a site (or part of). It is recognised that due to their nature some sites may not be able to physically achieve lockdown.
